The Mochica-Chimu doll was checked by the Royal
British Columbia Museum in Victoria, B.C., Canada. Correspondence started on
November 5, 1973. Also a letter, written in German , pertaining to the doll,
comes with the documents of the museum. Age 500 - 800 years old.
This doll is 19 cm in lengths and in perfect condition.

Double vase (ca. 1920 ), made in the Ming dynasty fashion. Indian jade
(aventurine, which is a quartz). It shows bamboo stems with leaves, with a
phoenix in front. H. 17cm. X W. 10.5 cm. X 3 cm. Provenance:
This beautiful double-vase was purchased from Sotheby's Auctions in Los
Angeles, California on June 14, 1979.

Solid teapot, non-functional, very fine sea green Jadeite
with a brown bat on the front, and also a string of coins, with 2 small
coins in front (symbols of good luck), with 2 larger coins in the back.
Perfectly finished. 7 1/2 cm high, x 6 cm wide x 2 1/2 cm deep.

This is an extremely rare specimen , because this
functional teapot has a Maw Sit Sit front side, and a Jadeite reverse side,
thereby proving that both stones are found not only side by side, but
interspersed as well. Colors are dark to apple green, going into pale
green/pale grey. The tightly fitted lid matches both front and back of
the teapot.
13 1/2 cm wide x 8 cm high x 4cm deep.

county, Washington state.. Excellent condition. 4. 1/2 x 2. 1/4 x 1.1/8.
Most likely made by Salish-Coastal Indians c.500 A.D. Each side of the adze is straight and smooth - the process that was used to create this adze would have been an arduous task… taking the finest sand and water and slowly grinding the stone smooth. Click on image for another view. |

wood snuff bottle. Original top has been replaced. Color: brown, with the
opalized part a silver color, which goes right through the stone to the
back.
The opalized petrified wood has turned into stone over the period of
