1907 Hamilton pocket watch

Simply Beautiful... this open-faced 1907 Hamilton pocket watch has drifted through almost a century with barely a mark to show for it.  The original glass crystal simply cannot be replaced today.  In the centre (and this is difficult to show in the photograph - there is one photo (6th) but you need to know why it looks that way - the centre of the glass has a one cm area that is flat whereas the rest of the crystal is gently curved).

The pictures truly show the wonderful shape that this Hamilton is in.

The movement is a damascened seventeen jewel with the serial number placing it as 1907.  Nickel, 5 positions adjustment.  The case is gold-filled (Philadelphia) so beautifully engraved on the back that it adds to the overall ornamental appearance.  The enamelled face is vibrant, though it does have a fine hairline that is visible in the pictures, starting from the subsiduary second hand stepped dial and moving up toward the 1.
