This is a beautiful, great condition, yellow gold filled, working Elgin Pocket watch.  Rarely in a watch of this vintage and shape will you see the "date" capability.

 The watch also features an awesome and perfect three color dial, with beautiful gold applied markers, a near perfect yellow gold filled case, the neat shaped original set of gilded hands, and even the original 17 jewel movement works and runs well.

 The crystal appears to be original and in good shape. The dial is near perfect and is signed "Elgin" in gold applied letters. The case is rose gold filled and is in excellent condition. The bow is also neatly shaped, original and nice and firm and the crown is original, in fine shape and signed "Elgin."

The snap off back is signed outside "10K RGP" and inside "Cased And Timed By Elgin National Watch Co. Star Watch Case Company 10KT Rolled Gold Plate 4920 S763363." The watch is a 10 or 12 size as it measures about 45mm in diameter. The movement is beautiful and signed "Elgin 916 Seventeen 17 Jewels Unadjusted Swiss YXY."
