Solar (T. Eaton Co. Canadian) 25J Men's Wristwatch

This is a delightfully pristine men's watch in very good condition.  Automatic, it winds as you move.  Circa. 1960s.  25 Jewel.  An excellent movement that keeps very good time.  Set the day and the date with the crown (pull out and wind backward).  This gorgeous watch has been fitted with a very nice leather strap that has been worn only for a week to observe its capabilities..

"Solar" was the brand name used on watches by Canada's legendary T. Eaton Co., which went out of business in 1999.  This gold-coloured men's watch, is signed SOLAR, 25,  AUTOMATIC, and SWISS MADE on the face.  The crystal has some slight scratches near 11:00, and the back (looks like stainless steel) has a few scratches, but on the whole it's a very attractive timepiece.    This watch should be of special interest to collectors of Eaton's memorabilia and vintage watch collectors.
